Sailor bookcase by Living Divani: the bookcase inspired by the world of boating
The Sailor bookcase by Living Divani is inspired by the structure of a sailing ship, in which lightness prevails over aesthetic characteristics, as in Sailor. Its silhouette recalls a quadricula: horizontal and vertical lines merge to create the bookcase structure. Moreover, Sailor recalls the ‘50s and ‘60s concept in which the bookcase was floor-to-ceiling, to which it’s added a new wall mounted version with four different lengths for the shelves to satisfy all the customers’ needs.
Sailor is totally customisable: you can choose the heights of the different shelves and the most suitable length for your spaces, in addition you can add or remove shelves to add storage units, finally you can choose some dividing elements.
The gentle shapes of the shelves link to the rigorous vertical steel structure; making Sailor a product as much light and slender as possible. Note that every fastening element is hidden inside the shelf, thus showing attention to even the smallest of details.
