Trade service for architects, interior designers and developers

We are Mobilificio Marchese, a family business established in Messina in 1930 and now in its fourth generation. For architects, interior designers, and developers, we are more than an Italian furniture supplier: we are the technical office, logistics provider, and site partner transforming specifications into finished interiors, anywhere in the world.

A furniture container arrives at a villa construction site.

From a showroom in Messina to villas worldwide

Our journey began in a furniture store in Sicily. About fifteen years ago, we were among the first Italian retailers to truly serve international clients, and today most of our projects originate from Italy: villas in Saudi Arabia and Morocco, homes in Australia, the United States, and Europe.

Along the way, we learned that a beautiful sofa or a perfect wardrobe is only half the job. The other half is the technical drawing that fits everything to the millimeter, the container that delivers it to its destination, and the team that installs it. That is what we offer to the professionals we work with.

One project, four years: a residential compound in Saudi Arabia

The best way to explain our trade service is through a real project. Photos and technical drawings are real; the client's identity remains confidential.

1. 2018: initial site survey

We first visited the site when the villas were still concrete and sand. The client requested Italian walk-in closets for every villa, tailored around the family's lifestyle.

2. 2019: every space designed

Our technical team designed over 25 walk-in closets and wardrobes room by room: 1:25 scale material layouts, functional plans, closed and open door 3D renders, and elevations. Where standard fully-opening Lema corner units were not applicable, we engineered custom corner solutions to maximize space. Some of these are now part of the standard Lema catalog.

3. January 2020: container arrival

We oversaw production with Italian manufacturers before shipping everything via containers. On site, crates were delivered room by room, fully labeled according to our technical plans.

4. 2020-2021: installation and handover

Installation followed our plans to the millimeter: walnut interiors, bronze accents, glass doors, and integrated LED lighting that illuminates upon opening.

5. 2022: phase two

Following the completion of the first villas, the client entrusted us with the next phase. This represents the long-term relationship we seek with every studio: not just a single order, but a lasting partnership.

Melbourne: a walk-in closet envisioned as a concept

In collaboration with Studio Del Castillo in Melbourne, we transformed a walk-in closet into a conceptual architectural space: Lema Dandy leather doors for him, fabric doors for her.

Where the two areas converge, Lema wardrobes with front and back glass panels form a transparent bridge: both spaces connect visually and function seamlessly through the central cabinetry. The studio directed the project concept; we provided technical development and delivered the complete solution to Australia.

Hotel standards for private residences

Many of the brands we represent furnish world-class hotels and branded residences. For instance, the contract division of Lema outfitted rooms at the Bulgari Hotel in London and Hôtel Lutetia in Paris, as well as wardrobes at the Four Seasons Residences and Mandarin Oriental Residences in Mayfair.

We bring this same level of excellence to private villas and residences: five-star precision tailored around a family, paired with the flexibility private clients demand.

Gulf region specialists: Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar

Our largest projects are located in the Gulf region, where we design, ship, and coordinate the installation of Lema walk-in closets, wardrobes, and full interior fit-outs for villas, palaces, and branded residences.
