Designer doors for contemporary spaces: a project of excellence in Saudi Arabia

Bringing Italian design to the world means interpreting different spaces, cultures and needs, without ever compromising on the quality and identity that set us apart. The project carried out in Saudi Arabia represents a particularly significant milestone for us: a large-scale project in which aesthetics, functionality and technology blend in a refined balance.

At the heart of the project was the study of the layout of the interior spaces, with the aim of creating functional yet visually light partitions. The choice of glass as the key material has allowed for visual continuity between the spaces, enhancing natural light and amplifying the perception of the rooms.

In this context, the doors become true architectural elements, capable of defining the space without weighing it down.

The Prima door by Albed: understated design and the full elegance of glass

The undisputed star of the project is the Prima door, an ideal solution for those seeking large-scale movable panels whilst maintaining a clean, understated aesthetic. Its minimalist design blends seamlessly into contemporary spaces, where every detail is crafted to convey elegance and harmony.

Thanks to the pivot system, the panels can rotate up to 360°, offering a fluid and dramatic user experience. This type of opening is not only an aesthetic choice but also a functional one: it allows for dynamic management of spaces, adapting them to different daily needs.

Versatility and functionality: bespoke solutions

In addition to the pivot doors, the project included the installation of other solutions to meet specific requirements:

- Prima model doors with 180° opening, ideal for ensuring spaciousness and practicality in the busiest passageways

- Quadra model sliding doors, perfect for optimising space and maintaining a clean, continuous aesthetic

This combination of systems has made it possible to create an extremely versatile environment, in which every element interacts with the others in a coherent manner.

The project in Saudi Arabia was also an exercise in design sensitivity: we were able to interpret an international context, respecting its style and requirements, whilst at the same time bringing the value of Italian design to the fore.

The result is an elegant, contemporary and functional space, where the transparency of the glass and the quality of the finishes help to create a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.
