The chair you're never the first to leave

There are chairs you eat on and chairs you stay on. Summer Arms belongs to the second family: Paola Navone designs for Baxter a seat with a linear, almost squared silhouette that nonetheless wraps around its occupant thanks to generous cushioning and two armrests that turn the chair into a small table-side armchair. It's the kind of seat that stretches out dinners, that makes a conversation last another quarter of an hour, that makes even a meeting at the desk a pleasure.

The soft leather upholstery is finished with raw-edge stitching, that exposed seam that gives the chair a tailored, deliberately unpolished character. For those who live their spaces dynamically there is also a version on casters, designed for settings where you move often between table, desk and conversation area.
