A small planetary system for the ceiling
There's a subtle physics to the way Satellite occupies space: its hand-blown Murano glass spheres aren't lined up for symmetry, but for apparent gravity, as if celestial bodies had drifted onto the same orbit by chance. Studiopepe's pendant for Baxter doesn't just light a table — it builds a small private sky above it.
No two spheres are identical: the hand-blown glass produces slightly irregular shapes and tones that shift from smoky grey to amber brown, while the opaline white shades punctuate the composition like quieter stars. The result is an object that changes character depending on how it's arranged: gathered and vertical like a suspended necklace, or stretched out horizontally like a constellation running the length of the table.
The details that make the difference
● Designed by Studiopepe for Baxter
● Hand-blown Murano glass spheres, each slightly different in shape and colour
● Burnished metal structure, white opaline glass shades
● Two colourways available: Grey and Brown
● Horizontal configuration (216x94xH24 cm) or vertical configuration (90x24xH113 cm)
● 3000K LED source, dimmable 1-10, DALI-compatible with standard driver
Where it finds its place
In its horizontal version, it runs the length of a dining table, becoming the element that sets its rhythm; in its vertical version, it suits a reading corner, a bar area, or an isolated pool of light where the play of suspended spheres can be admired up close.
