The Bourgeois table has a sandblasted cast iron base that ensures stability and a wooden top finished with natural oils that represents its strength and style. Wood is a living material and as such can have small changes in colour and size over time. For the first few months, objects placed on the table tops must be periodically moved as the wood, finished with natural substances, is sensitive to light and oxidises, creating colour differences between the exposed and covered parts.
