Yes. Mobilificio Marchese is an Italian family business founded in 1930 and now run by its fourth generation. Our showroom is in Messina, Italy, at Via Santa Cecilia 104/106, where a team of architects and interior designers assists every client, both in person and remotely. Our reliability is confirmed by customer ratings on independent platforms such as Trusted Shops and Houzz.
Yes. We are an official dealer of more than 40 Italian and international design brands, including Baxter, Flexform, Living Divani, Lema, Porada, Cattelan Italia, Meridiani and Arrital. We order directly from the manufacturers: every product is 100% authentic and comes with the manufacturer's documentation and warranty.
Yes, export is at the heart of our business. We have been serving international markets for 15 years, since a time when very few Italian retailers were doing so, and we have since worked with clients in dozens of countries across five continents. These include Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Lithuania, Norway and other Scandinavian countries in Europe; the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Panama and the Cayman Islands in the Americas; Saudi Arabia, Morocco and South Africa in the Middle East and Africa; and China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia in Asia-Pacific. Our projects include villas in Saudi Arabia, penthouses in Vienna and Melbourne, residences in the United States and interiors in Japan and Singapore. You can see some of this work in Our projects.
We apply Italian market prices, which for many brands are lower than the price lists used in other countries. In addition, shipments outside the European Union are invoiced without Italian VAT. We also apply no mark-up on shipping costs. As a result, even after transport and import charges, buying from Italy is often the more advantageous choice. Our quotation clearly lists every cost item.
Prices for the Italian market include 22% VAT. For shipments outside the European Union, the invoice is issued without Italian VAT, as provided for exports; any import taxes are payable in the destination country. For EU businesses with a valid VAT number (verified in the VIES system), the reverse charge mechanism applies. For private customers in the EU, VAT is applied in accordance with the rules in force for distance sales.
It depends on the delivery terms you prefer: we offer all the main options, from collection in Italy (Ex Works, EXW) to delivery at destination (DAP) and all-inclusive Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), covering customs clearance and taxes. Under EXW and DAP terms, duties, import taxes and customs clearance are paid by the buyer; under DDP terms they are included in our quotation and we handle them for you. Amounts depend on the country and on the customs classification of the products. We provide the commercial invoice, packing list and documentation of the goods' Italian origin.
Request a personalised quotation: for projects involving several pieces we prepare dedicated offers. If another official dealer offers you a lower price for the same product in the same configuration, send us their offer and we are committed to matching it. You can also browse our Sale section, with ex-display and in-stock pieces at reduced prices.
Of course. Most of our international clients buy remotely. Send us your product list, measurements or floor plans: we advise you by video call, send you a detailed quotation with finishes and technical drawings and, once you approve it, we manage the order, production and shipping.
For made-to-order products, a 40% deposit is required on order confirmation; for larger orders, terms can be agreed individually. The balance is due before shipment. We accept all major credit cards, including American Express, as well as bank transfer (SEPA or SWIFT). Quotations are issued in euros.
Yes, we also send samples abroad, so you can assess colours and materials before ordering. Samples are free for architects and interior designers; for private clients, we will let you know the conditions when you request them.
Most pieces are made to order in the configuration, fabric and finish you choose, so production times depend on the type of product, the brand, the material and any customisation requested. For example, a Living Divani Extrasoft sofa takes about 40 days in fabric and at least 70 days in leather. Our quotation states the expected lead time for each item; please note that in August many manufacturers pause production for the summer closure. We also offer in-stock and ex-display pieces with shorter delivery times.
After production, indicative transit times are: within 15 days for Europe; about 3 weeks for the United States, including customs clearance; and about 10–12 days for Saudi Arabia. For other destinations, times depend on distance and the transport mode. Times and costs also vary with the solution you choose: on request we offer faster options, such as air freight.
Yes. For 15 years we have been delivering worldwide in partnership with companies specialising in the transport of luxury furniture. We prepare a tailored shipping quotation for each destination, and you choose the service: collection in Italy (EXW), delivery at destination (DAP), duty-paid delivery (DDP) or white-glove delivery with placement of the furniture. Shipping costs are passed on to you without any mark-up. Find out more on our Shipping and delivery page.
Furniture travels in the manufacturer's original packaging; for sea freight or long-distance shipments we use reinforced packaging or wooden crates. On request, goods can be insured for their full value during transport. If you wish, we can also send you photos and details of the goods at the time of loading.
Yes. We consolidate pieces from different brands at our warehouse or at our logistics partners' facilities and ship them together, with a single transport and a single set of documents. It is the most efficient solution for furnishing an entire home or project.
Yes. If you prefer to use your own forwarder, we prepare the goods for collection in Italy (Ex Works, EXW) together with all the necessary export documents.
Yes, we offer a white-glove delivery service: delivery to the room of your choice, unpacking and placement. In many countries we can also arrange assembly. For more complex products, such as wardrobes, walk-in closets and kitchens, we coordinate installation with specialised technicians, as we have done for our projects in Saudi Arabia and Australia.
On delivery, check the number of packages and the condition of the packaging. Any damage must be noted immediately as a written reservation on the delivery note, before you sign it; take some photos and contact us straight away. We handle the claim with the carrier, the insurer and the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
Our furniture is manufactured to European standards. Some markets have specific requirements, such as flammability labelling for upholstered furniture in the United States (TB 117-2013) or the certifications required for import into Saudi Arabia. Tell us your destination country at the quotation stage: we will check the documentation and available versions with the manufacturers.
European versions operate at 220–240 V. Many manufacturers offer specific versions for other markets, for example UL-certified versions for the United States and Canada. Tell us your destination country: before ordering, we check voltage, plugs and certifications, including for kitchen appliances.
All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, according to each brand's terms; consumers in the European Union also benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity. Should you need assistance, wherever you are, we handle all communication with the manufacturer.
For standard products, the right of withdrawal set out in our terms of sale applies. Products made to measure or customised to the client's specifications are excluded from the right of withdrawal, as provided by European consumer protection law. This is why, before ordering, we check measurements, finishes and technical drawings together with you.
Of course. Our team remains available after delivery, by email, phone or video call, for care advice, spare parts and repairs, which we coordinate directly with the manufacturers.
